Friend

I too have a lot of friends

Everyone having its unique trend,

There is a one who always sleeps,

Always inside his blanket neck deep,

There is a one who always stood first,

He has a never ending hunger and thirst,

There is a one with big ears,

He hides them a lot, but they always appears,

There is one who lives for food,

He eats a lot, and is always booed,

There is one who speaks very less,

You can hear his voice, when it’s important unless,

There is one who gives management theories,

Of high and lows and market glories,

There is one who screams a lot,

If you hear him regularly, your ears may rot,

There is one who has a great voice,

He seems soothing related to above mentioned noise,
There is one with a big fat belly,
Whenever he laughs it wobbles like a jelly,
There is one with awesome hair,
Shiny and long, to be handled with care,

There is one who loves sports,

Many teams play but only one he supports,

There is one who constantly laughs,

It’s like he is doing it on others behalf,

There is one who is always mocked,

He doesn’t mind it, and alone he walked.

There is one with a high level thinking,

You can just hear him out with your eyes blinking,

There is one whose contacts are large,

Anything you need, you can make him in charge,

There is one who always has a doubt,

He questions everything that you can never make out,

There is one who never sleeps,

It’s like he has some reputation to keep

So here ends the narrative of the one I know,

The friends with whom

I shared my highs and lows,

You must be having your own list,

The one for whom you exist,

I wonder what if there is nothing like a friend,

Who is going to be, on whom we can depend?

Some Other Day

And here again he has lost,

he did the best he can,

he left no stone unturned,

Yet again,

here again he has lost.

Crowd is cheering for the man, who won,

He who did the best he can,

who didn’t let others down,

being the chosen one to lift the crown.

and he is the man who won.

But I am surprised by

the man who has lost,

Why he is smiling?

Why not he is being sad?

Even after so much labor,

everything for him has gone bad.

Then I realized he is the man

Who loses with a smile,

Until he wins some other day.

Hello ,

Voila ,weekend again .. 

Today the uninteresting hectic lectures forced me to carve out something.It's like the hidden me.It helps me to understand myself better I think.Didn't knew this would come up.

You dear was my life,

the life which moved along with you,

I said " I am there for you",

Everyday!

But dear its just because,

You always stayed.

Whenever I hurt you,whenever I scream,

I know it makes you fell bad ,

But dear you stayed.

I always make you abide ,

and sometimes I leave you aside,

Mind and You

We think a lot day and night,

It’s like uncontrollable powerhouse inside,

May be for you, may be not,

But it’s not the topic that we decide,

When someone passes through our sight,

And something happens inside,

We just think a lot day and night.

When the mind plays suspense games,

And heart partners with it,

We are left with amazing thoughts,

And wonderful things that follows,

It not only makes you happy,

But also helps you realize,

The grandness of world around,

And the lovely people in it,

The heavenly beauty of nature,

And the chroma of the skies,

The hustling of the leaves,

By the winds passing by,

The rhythmic tune of the rivers,

And the birds flowing in the sky.

I wonder if ever,

This utopian world can be reality,

Where pain is less and joy is brimming,

Where people no more suffer and happily living,

Where survival of the fittest is not the key,

and we let a person think free.

Am I asking for something impossible?

Is this an idiotic thought?

I am still searching for something,

That can make me happy ever after.

Straight from the Moon

The Super Moon appeared tonight,

It was much closer to sight (28,000 km to be precise).

Go near a window, take a look,

It was a brighter and bigger delight.

There is too much of moon right now in my life. Due to total lack of work and me being entirely free right now I had an opportunity to enter into a great discussion with my friends. The topic was

 “If Sun stop to exist after what duration on Earth its effects can be seen, regarding gravitational pull and all”.

One silly answer I got was “hey buddy,whenever sunlight is gone ,sun is gone, that’s when you notice it!!”. ”Ha-ha Pretty Cool You Einstein”. I replied, but that’s not fulfilling. I am searching for something more.

So let’s take out sunlight as a factor and assume that the whole event takes place on a mysterious night under the blanket of darkness. And then the discussion began, and an overall accepted answer was described on the basis of String theory. It says “considering the speed of gravity equal to the speed of light, the effects would be noticed after somewhat approximately 8 minutes (Yes it’s the same time what sunrays takes to reach the earth) and hence thereafter earth continues to move on tangentially leaving its circular path.

So ,that’s what conclusion we draw, but we got stucked somewhere else (you know when open thinking starts no-one is ever satisfied, and one thing leads to other ).Now our problem was if Sun vanishes and after 8 minutes it is observed on Earth, would there be any personal experience felt at an individual, personal level? I mean for a boy going to school, for a women cooking food, for a batsman hitting the ball. Are they going to observe anything at all??

Some suggested me NO, not at all. 

Some said YES, for sure, “a jerk would be felt like hitch or twitch”. 

But I didn’t get any satisfying answer, still searching. It’s my request to my readers to share your thoughts regarding this.

Ok enough of moon now, moving on, changing topic, getting off-track, surfing through this meta-organism called Internet which is growing daily at a tremendous pace , every now and then, I discover fascinating things. The creator of the Million Dollar homepage, Alex Tew, has now developed a website called do-nothing-for-two-minutes. He says “we spend every waking minute of the day with access to an unlimited supply of information, to the point of information overload” So, he designed a website where you can take rest, get off the hook, relieve you stress. Pretty nice idea!!

Back to Bedlam

So at last my exams are over and I got time to write down something. Blogging after a month. Much happened during this time period. Japan got hit by earthquakes,volcanoes,tsunamis and nuclear attacks and as a result radiation threat is around the globe. India is doing well at Cricket World Cup,Sachin hit his 99^th international century, Libya ,Bahrain,Egypt,Yemen are under breakdown, The King’s Speech won the Oscar for best movie ,Charlie Sheen (one of the highest paid TV actor)is fired from Two and a half Men sitcom, and the latest being happening on 19^th march when Moon is going to be closest ever to Earth.

These exams make one more creative as you think a lot regarding everything else other than your studies. I have also become somewhat poetic (not-good-for-me), jotted down some thoughts, two of them are presented down below.Here goes...

Alone in the dark, there is a place

Where you can hide and no one can see.

Where the atmosphere is calm and,

Your brain has fewer goals

And much stress is on your soul,

So that you can be with yourself more!

Life seems so focused with my spects on,

Life is pretty with all tensions gone.

Life is monotonous when nothing happens new,

But we hate life when successes are few.

Life is fun when friends are around,

Life becomes cruel with past opened wounds.

Life is good, when nothing to worry,

Life is delicious with spices and curry.

Life is fascinating when you have something to dream

It’s like cakes, pastries and chocolate ice-cream.

Life is enjoyable when on the run,

It’s just too bad without all the fun.

Life is frustrating when it’s unfair,

It’s like nobody is there for you to care.

Life is entertaining when you can laugh out loud,

With no remembrance of misery and you feeling proud.

Life is hard when hopes are high,

You have to do endless work and no time to sigh.

When you get what you want but not what you need ,

Life makes you upset,

It makes you full of remorse and regret.

But in the end,

Life is what you make of,

It is only dependent on your hard work,

and a portion is left for luck.

So, every individual has its own meaning of life,

And life has its own meaning for every one too.

ig'zam fee-vur

Exams are near,raising the fear.
as it has been happening since past long before i remember ,
again i have to face a back-to-back action packed 6 day bonaza .
adding up to this great offer is the Brobdingnagian course .
I have to study a syllabus "ranging from far deep corners of infinite line source circular reservoir , where we can reach drilling directionally through the journey strolling through shale ,sandstone,impervious paths,with continuous mud circulation and travelling back right upto the surface storage  equipments, ending up with the vibrant Gas flare".
  Yes i know,apart from my fellow mates,my readers wouldn't be getting a word,but by writing all this i feel the inner self generated feelings that often bubble out of me,each now and then !!

As per as history is concern ,Ancient China was the first country to develop a test called as Imperial Examination.It is a bit too obvious also ..considering the vast amount of population ,to select and properly test a person's skill,they are deserving and hence apt for this invention!
 Preparing for exam bring a person to such a state that even staring at walls seems interesting!
So it's all for now then..wont' be around for two weeks or so..
Exam fever On!!
Only relaxation from this environment is me ,my headphones and Coldplay.

falling slowly

At last weekend ahead.What a soothing feeling it brings along is just precious.,rare..and the most important thing it brings is silence ..in mind ,in soul ..Everything is mind's play in the end,(and you are going to agree with me on that).One more mind play example -When someone asked you specifically not to do a certain thing .. you become restless ,uneasy,, excited.about doing that particular thing only .don't you.?
I feel sometimes a sense of non-be-longness to the current environment ..does that ever happened to you also.
Ask two questions to yourself
1.Why are you here ,wherever you are.?? 
2.Why are you doing whatever you are.??
I sometimes convince myself very easily,but today and many-a-times more i feel dejected.Do you?
I can more easily describe that in two lines 

Trying to pull myself away

I'm caught in a pattern and I can't escape

It's like a feeling of being caught in a rat race and most importantly even if you win ,you are still a rat.Are you?

I know you are thinking it's just because of accumulated tensions of result,placement,job and all,but i know it's not that.Ok lets suppose i got that what i want,then what 

I would be working in a Company earning bucks but then what? Yes I am definitely going to be happy for a while but then what .u see SATISFACTION,this character trait is much rarely found in human species.To say it more convincingly here goes.

People are funny. They spend money they haven`t earned, to buy things they don`t need, to impress people they don`t like.

So what if i am not going to be SATISFIED? Same old restlessness cycle repeats itself and till i sort that out regarding what i actually want ,my age would be very close an average human being on Earth very feeble to fight for .much of it now

Let's change topic.

People are funny na!. Yesterday i was in an awkward situation when I was standing next to my friend who was talking to someone whom I didn't know.

Also it's like, When my parents say, "We need to talk to you." I immediately start to think of everything I`ve done wrong to make up a legitimate excuse.

Of murphy,chaos,butterflies and dominos.

It's inbuilt in human nature to get amused by anything new he came across which is either very bizarre ,weird and eye-catching or is pretty simple ,obvious ,daily experienced but remained un-noticed generally.

Ever heard of any theories or concepts remotely related to the title.Well I bet some of my able readers must have got an idea what i'm talking about.Let's start with a simple one

Murphy's law - It says -"Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong".

Does that ever happened to you?.It's not just a coincidence.There are whole bunch of laws based on it.

These laws are distributed in to various categories ,each having its own texture.
Some more of them are

• The first myth of management is that is exists.
• Hard disks are always full.It is futile to try to get more disk space. Data expands to fill any void.
• When any instrument is dropped, it will roll into the least accessible corner.
• If you're running late the bus will be too.
• Things get worse under pressure.
• Always draw your curves, then plot your reading.

Chaos theory-Well this one needs little thinking.. It says "small differences in initial conditions (such as those due to rounding errors in numerical computation) yield widely diverging outcomes for chaotic systems, rendering long-term prediction impossible in general".

It has wide applications in many scientific disciplines.The most commonest example of it is the Butterfly effect.Well many of you must have watched the movie and its two sequels.. and if you didn't its my recommendation to have a rendezvous with it.

The phrase "butterfly effect" refers to the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in a certain location. The flapping wing represents a small change in the initial condition of the system, which causes a chain of events leading to large-scale alterations of events.

More simple example can be taken off a ball at the top of a mountain which can roll down in any possible direction based on any change in its initial conditions.

The big concept of time travel can also be related to it where small minor event change in past can alter future outcomes drastically!!

Domino effect-According to it " a chain reaction can be initiated when a small change causes a similar change nearby which then will cause another similar change, and so on in linear sequence."

A real life example of it can be observed in tumbling of bicycle in a stand when a small push is given to the first one .. 

I wanted to add one more theory in this post that was String theory aka "The Theory of Everything".It is something which is highly debatable with its concepts of matter consisting of strings and introduction to 11 dimensions.It is believed  that Einstein in his last days was busy formulating the principles of this theory .Many research work is currently performed on this subject , notably by Prof.Stephen Hawking.

the success cycle

Does it ever happened to you .when you witness the last piece of your favorite ice cream is just been sold out in front of you,you had the aroma of that already filling up your nostrils ,your tongue was just going to have a tryst with that big ,spongy,smooth thing but ALAS it's not with you!!
What do you do ?
Are you frustrated ?
Are you jealous ?
Are you feeling unlucky?

CAN YOU DESCRIBE THAT FEELING.
Coming to the realistic world,
You must have been wait listed once in your lifetime in trains(you didnt ..come on you can't be so lucky!)
What does it feel like to be helpless, needy, lost ..just being dependent on somebody else.to cancel their ticket so that you can a get a berth to sit on ..hah .So was it your fault,yes to some extent ,but you have paid the same amount of money as the person with a reserved berth.so why is the difference ,

                                              

                      " Yes you are right,

                               your timing isn't right

                                    and luck is not on your side."

We have always been inspired by great persons doing great things in life and we always wanted to follow their footsteps..but do we ever wonder their was one and many more just behind them who had done equal hardwork ,equal efforts ,and had equal potential but yet they are not one of your inspirations.
Some consolation for them goes like this:-

"it was not for you dear, God has sent you to achieve far more better things in life"

What can they say , where have they done wrong even they don't know,what are they going to improve,and people well people are just lost in praising the winner and (better luck next time)*ing the others.
So,should they lose hope,or change their path and goal and career,
never they fight and fight and fight.
The infinite faith in them keep them alive,
their hardworking soul is burnt in the darkness
and here they come " Enlightened "
and at last as "WINNERS" and the process is repeated again for some other similar person and hence
 the cycle for success continues.

This post dedicated to all those who have just tasted success but couldn't get the overall zest of it,
